ACR® PolySeal Sealant is a high-performance sealant and adhesive which adheres to a wide variety of substrates including PVC, vinyl, concrete, aluminum, EPDM rubber, painted and unpainted, metals, glass, marble, masonry and brick, wood, and many plastics. It can be used in a wide variety of roofing, window, door, siding, trim, metal and general construction applications. ACR® PolySeal Sealant may be applied to damp surfaces and even in temperatures as low as 300°F.

Product Application

ACR PolySeal Sealant must be applied to a clean, dry, structurally sound and dust-free surface. If the surface is not clean, then the use of one of the following Alchemco Clean & Repair (ACR) products, or a shot blast system, may be required for prepping the surface for warrantied applications. Chemical cleaning may require multiple applications and the use of different products to achieve complete cleaning. Certain types of cleaning equipment may improve performance and speed of application.

  • ACR Rust Converter & Inhibitor

Do not use Xylol or MEK to clean the surface as this will keep the ACR PolySeal Sealant from adhering to the surface. Contamination from curing agents and form release agents should be avoided.

Application Equipment
  • 10oz hand-powered caulking gun with high compression capabilities.
  • Keep product warm prior to application to decrease the difficulty of application.
Clean Up
  • Remove material from tools before it cures by scraping and/or using mineral spirits and a dry cloth or paper towel.
  • Cured material my be removed by cutting with a sharp tool.
