Our StoryIn 1946 Louis Zisman and William Lebowitz combined their respective talents by forming Alconox Inc. to manufacture and distribute Alconox® detergent. Mr. Zisman had discovered that a wetting agent he developed excelled at cleaning glassware without leaving a residue. Mr. Lebowitz owned Standard Scientific Supply Corporation which was a distributor of products focused on the laboratory market. Since that time, Alconox Inc. has been the recognized leader in laboratory detergents, used extensively in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare, electronics, and the cosmetics industries as well as solar, food, nuclear and optics industries. Our products can now be found in over 50 countries world-wide. Alconox Inc. has remained in control of the founding families for over 75 years, and the third generation of those founders operate the business today.

SOLUJET is a highly alkaline detergent containing potassium hydroxide, silicate of soda, and surfactants.

Solujet

LIQUINOX consists primarily of a homogeneous blend of sodium linear alkylaryl sulfonate, sodium xylene sulfonate, and ethoxylated alcohol. LIQUINOX is anionic in nature.

Liquinox

CITRANOX contains a blend of organic acids, anionic and non-ionic surfactants and alkanolamines. CITRANOX is phosphate-free.

Citranox

DETERGENT 8 is a nonionic, phosphate-free homogeneous blend of an alkanolamine, glycol ethers and an alkoxylated fatty alcohol. Contains no chelating agents, halides or conductive metal cations such as sodium.

Detergent 8

TERGAZYME consists primarily of a homogeneous blend of sodium linear alkylaryl sulfonate, phosphates, carbonates, and protease enzyme. TERGAZYME is anionic in nature. The protease enzyme in TERGAZYME is Bacillus licheniformis subtilisin Carlsberg which may be deactivated by 300 ppm hypochlorite at 85°F in seconds; 3.5 ppm hypochlorite at 100°F for 2 min; exposure to pH below 4 for 30 min at 140°F; or by heating to 175°F for 10 min.

Tergazyme

CITRAJET contains a blend of organic acids and surfactants. CITRAJET is phosphate free.

Citrajet

Ledizolv - Lead Specific Cleaner is scientifically formulated for use in the clean-up and control of LCD hazards. Ledizolv contains a synergistic blend of chelating agents, wetting agents, emulsifiers and dispersants that are optimized to remove lead contaminated dust. Unlike TSP or other phosphate detergents, it is a mild pH, phosphate free and completely biodegradable. USDA authorized. Dilute 2:100. pH 5.4.

ALCOTABS consists primarily of a homogeneous blend of sodium linear alkylaryl sulfonate, phosphates, carbonate and excipient ingredients added to aid in tabletting. ALCOTABS are anionic in nature

Alcotabs

DETOJET is a highly alkaline detergent containing potassium hydroxide, silicate of soda and sodium hypochlorite. It should be used with caution and the precautions on the label should be followed. DETOJET is nonionic.

Detojet

Detojet is a low foaming, heavy duty alkaline detergent for use in labware washers, parts washers, power-spray systems, and ultrasonic cleaning systems. Concentrated, highly emulsifying and penetrating formula is free rinsing, and leaves no interfering residues. Protects interior working parts of washers. USDA authorized. Dilute 1:200. pH 12.4

Detojet® Low-Foaming Liquid Detergent

Luminox is a low foaming, neutral pH detergent for use in manual, ultrasonic, and machine cleaning. Safe-handling detergent used for non-corrosive cleaning without chelation or alkalinity waste treatment problems. Recommended for residue free cleaning of aluminum and soft metal, medical devices, pharmaceutical equipment, alkaline sensitive labware, and medical instruments in aluminum trays. Free rinsing, eliminating interfering residues. Dilute 3:100. pH 7

Luminox® Low-Foaming Neutral Cleaner

Detonox is a non-caustic detergent for exceptional removal of botanical, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical polymers, sticky extracts, resins, creams and lotions. Concentrated, highly emulsifying and penetrating formula is free rinsing, and leaves no residues.

Dilute 1:100. pH 9.5

Alconox® Powdered Precision Cleaner

Citrajet is a low foaming, phosphate-free, concentrated, liquid cleaner and metal brightener for high peformance removal of metal oxides, scales, salts and inorganic residues in labware washers, parts washers, power-spray systems and manual and ultrasonic cleaning. Corrosion inhibited and free rinsing leaving no interfering residues. Ideal for acid washing and rinsing. Dilute 2:100 pH 2.5

Ideal as a cleaning agent in Reverse Osmosis and Ultra-Filtration Systems. USDA authorized. Dilute: 1:100. pH 9.5
