The Aldoa Company was founded in 1957 to provide proprietary plating chemicals to the metal processing industry. Aldoa established itself as an innovative company by providing the plating industry with such products as the first cyanide-free alkaline zinc plating process, neutral and acid cadmium plating processes.

Aldoa’s objective has always been to provide customers with simple plating systems that require little or no lab support. In addition, Aldoa continues to provide platers with innovative processes. With the stringent environmental restrictions on the metal finishing industries, Aldoa has pioneered environmentally friendly processes such as a non-cyanide zinc and cadmium process and zinc-nickel plating that is one of the most widely used substitutes for cadmium plating.

Aldoa’s lab is staffed to quickly respond to meet customer needs and help solve their problems. The lab is also continuously searching for new and better conversion coatings and plating processes.

ALDAC

ALDAC DAC-1 is a foaming type for use in cleaning and descaling of metals with the exception of zinc and aluminum, or their alloys. Contains an indicator, which under goes color changes when acid is neutralized and serves as a visual aid in determining when the acid content is spent.

ALDAC DAC-CU is a formulated inhibited acid powder descaler for water cooled rectifiers and transformers. Inhibited for minimizing etching of copper and aluminum surfaces.

Aldac 97 is formulated to inhibit the attack of sulfamic acid when used for cleaning and descaling of metals and equipment. Aldac 97 is a non-foaming type.

ALDAC DAC-RR is a foaming type for use in cleaning and descaling of metals with the exception of zinc and aluminum and their alloys. Formulated specifically for the removal of rust or iron containing scales.

ALDAC DAC-RR

ALDAC 1315 is a formulated cleaner for fast, thorough electrolytic cleaning of steel, copper and various copperbased alloys. All ingredients contribute to the overall cleaning action. The surfactants used in this formulation were chemically selected for high detergency and stability to temperature and oxidation to give dustless, facilitating the handling of the material. The Aldac 1315 cleaner performs exceptionally well in hard water areas.

ALDAC SC-100-NP is a mildly alkaline, non-phosphated spray cleaner used for inspection cleaning and in plant corrosion protection of steel surfaces. A dustless powder containing a biodegradable surfactant package.
