The resulting oil is then further processed to meet strict sensory and quality parameters. The resultant product is a high quality, fully winterized algal oil (clear at room temperature), with minimal taste and odor. alphamega³ 400 3AOX contains 40% DHA (400mg/g), mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract, and ascorbyl palmitate. AlphaMega is guaranteed to meet all product specifications when stored in the original unopened containerfor up to one month at room temperature (+25º C), up to 12 months at refrigerated temperature (+4º C) and up to 24 months underfrozen storage conditions (-20º C). Frozen storage is recommended for extended storage and for best sensory performance.

AlphaMega should be thawed completely and mixed well before use. Avoid oiltemperatures exceeding 60º C / 140º F during the thawing process for best sensory performance.

As the materialthaws, some phase separation may occur. This will not negatively impact the quality of the product, but it is important that the container contents are mixed well priorto use. When possible, use the entire contents of the container at one time. Unused portions should be blanketed with nitrogen and stored frozen.
