SETALUX® 17-1246 is a fast-dry thermoplastic acrylic resin solution, offering an excellent balance of hardness, adhesion, and film toughness. Ideal for both air-dry and force-dry industrial coatings, it finds applications in 1K and 2K coatings, solventborne formulations, clearcoats, and high-solids coatings. Its versatility extends to marine coatings, vehicle refinishing, and various industrial coatings. This resin solution is also a compatible modifier for vinyl, CAB, nitrocellulose, and epoxy resins, providing flexibility in formulation to achieve desired properties.

Storage and Handling

At temperatures up to 100°F storage stability packed in original containers amounts for 3 years.

Care should be taken not to expose the product to high temperature conditions, direct sunlight, ignition sources, oxidizing agents, alkalis or acids.

Storage and handling should be in stainless steel, amber glass, amber polyethylene or baked phenolic lined containers.

Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep container tightly closed. Use with adequate ventilation.
