It also features a novel built-in indicator for the correct time to bond materials together. Alpha Adhesives and Sealants Ltd A406 One Part Water-Based Adhesive for High Temperature Applications is based on novel water-based dispersion technology that is safe to use. It contains no solvents or isocyanates and conforms to the latest environmental legislation. Alpha A406 can be used on a variety of substrates to give instant bonds characterized by high strength once fully cured. It has found use in bonding the following substrates.

Alpha Adhesives and Sealants Ltd A1258 Water Based Acrylic Adhesive has been specially designed for applications including flooring, sound proofing, thermal insulation, etc. It has good aging properties, water-resistance and plasticizer resistance. The adhesive is also suitable for use where under floor heating systems have been installed.

Alpha Adhesives and Sealants Ltd A318 Water-Based Acrylic Adhesive is an acrylic pressure sensitive emulsion that, when dry, exhibits aggressive tack coupled with high shear resistance &amp; good peel strength. Alpha A318 is used for the manufacture of self adhesive labels &amp; adheres well to plasticised &amp; unplasticised PVC, polyester &amp; electrically treated films of polyolefins without the need of a primer. A318 is used as a pressure sensitive adhesive on a variety of substrates including wood, metal &amp; plastic.

Alpha Adhesives and Sealants Ltd Alphabond 142 Water-Resistant Woodworking Adhesive (D3) Is a white, free-flowing creamy liquid which cross-links on drying to give a translucent heat and water resistant film. It is a one part cross-linking system with excellent water and heat resistance. It exhibits fast bond strength development to give very high final bond strength. The high performance of this adhesive makes it ideally suited for interior and exterior applications. Alphabond 142 water resistant woodworking adhesive is extensively used in the furniture and joinery industries and conforms to bs en 204 d3 specifications. Not recommended for continuous immersion in water.

Alpha 132 Moisture-Cure Polyurethane Sealant 2 is a high performance flexible polyurethane (PU) adhesive/sealant that is ideal for a wide range of automotive, marine and aerospace applications. The adhesive sealant creates a very strong bond between a range of materials such as carbon fiber, metals, GRP, plastics and rubbers. Alpha 132 is a single part, moisture-cure adhesive/sealant that requires no mixing or activating. It is particularly effective as an adhesive in applications where vibration is likely to occur (such as on a car, truck, boat, plane etc.) owing to its flexibility. Its excellent weathering resistance properties make it ideal for conditions where wide ranges of temperature, humidity, water (including saltwater) or UV exposure might be present.

Alpha Adhesives and Sealants Ltd Alphaseal 121 High Modulus Acetoxy-Cure Silicone Sealant is a ready to use silicone sealant that cures rapidly on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a robust rubber seal. Alphaseal 121 has a long life expectancy with excellent weathering resistance properties make it ideal for conditions where wide ranges of temperature, humidity or UV exposure might be present. It is also very versatile and can be used for both interior and exterior applications, with excellent adhesion to glass, ceramics and sanitary ware. It is not suitable for use in ecological systems, such as aquariums, or where potable water may come in to contact with the sealant due to the presence of fungicides within the product.

Alpha Adhesives and Sealants Ltd A1020 Quick Grab Latex Adhesive has been formulated as a multi-purpose adhesive for use where quick sealing properties are of advantage. It can be used to bond textiles, papers, packaging materials, etc., to themselves or to one another. It represents the ultimate in quick grab latex adhesives, and is ideal for bonding all fibrous materials to a wide variety of porous substrates. including carpet binding. A1020 is used for a number of operations in the carpet and general textile industries. It can also be used for carton sealing and for miscellaneous fabrications in the packaging trade.

Alpha Adhesives and Sealants Ltd A2024 Water-Based Retread Adhesive is a water based adhesive containing a rust inhibitor, suitable for bonding old rubber to new rubber, e.g. in the repair of conveyor belts, or manufacture of retread tires. This product gives enhanced tack for side walling. A2024 also features a built in indicator to determine the correct time to bond the rubber materials during retread.
