Dermol DIPS demonstrates excellent compatibility in hydro-alcoholic cosmetic formulations. Typical uses for Dermol DIPS in hydro-alcoholic products are special facial preparations such as electric pre- and after-shave lotions where it functions as a non-oily emollient lubricant with mild drying effects. In addition to the superior mutual solvent and coupling agent properties, Dermol DIPS is an outstanding cosmetic emollient with wide and fast spreading action, permmitting its use in bath oils, frequently in combination with mineral oil and other esters, such as Dermol IPM. It can also be used in lip products, men’s grooming aids, hand lotions and antiperspirants.
