Dermol HD is a branched, low molecular weight, dry (non-oily) silky ester that exhibits unique characteristics including extremely low freeze point, low viscosity, good penetrating and antitacking power. Other outstanding features of Dermol HD are solubility and compatibility in a variety of ingredients such as esters, silicones, mineral and vegetable oils. The unique properties of Dermol HD lend themselves for use in numerous cosmetic applications where lubricity without an oil feel are desirable especially in light facial creams, body lotions, skin toners, bath oils, after shaves and other skin care products. It acts as a replacement for volatile silicons in antiperspirants where it reduces tackiness and drag and prevents clogging in aerosols.
