Dermol ICSA is an emollient ester/solvent from isocetyl alcohol and salicylic acid. The combination of branched alcohol and the aromaticity of the acid gives Dermol ISCA a unique solvency and plasticizing power beneficial for solublizing resins, waxes, polymers, benzophenones and other sunscreens. In addition, it is also recommended as a sunscreen emollient, for use in suntan lotions, cold creams, vanishing creams and alcoholic lotions and as a freeze point depressant.
