Dermol TDSA is an emollient ester/solvent derived from a highly branched tridecyl alcohol and salicylic acid. The combination of branched alcohol and aromaticity of the acid gives Dermol TDSA a very unique solvency and plasticizing power beneficial for solubilizing resins, waxes, polymers, benzophenones and other sunscreen agents. It is also recommended as an emollient ester for use in sunscreen agents.
