Dermol TISC is a fruit ester made from natural citric acid and highly branched alcohol, which allows it to exhibit an extremely low freeze point and high viscosity. The presence of the free hydroxyl group on the citric acid facilitates spreadability on the skin and gives it emulsifiability in some polar solvents.
Dermol TISC, an odorless, tasteless ester, imparts sheen and lubricity and a minimum oiliness. It is recommended as a good binder for pigmented products and is an excellent additive for imparting gloss and sheen in make-ups and lip products.
