Foamquat BAS is a highly concentrated quaternary of a Behenic Amido-Amine. The long Behenyl group (saturated C-22) will make it an outstanding cationic conditioner while maintaining water solubility. Another positive feature of Foamquat BAS is that with the presence of the Amido group it has far better compatibility with Anionic surfactants than regular quaternaries. The Behenyl quaternary offers many beneficial properties including increased substantivity, smooth after feel, increased silkiness, luster and body when incorporated into hair care formulations.
