Foamquat CHP is a water-soluble mixture of a quaternary and cationic surfactant, emulsifier and conditioning agent based on the amido-amine of natural sunflower oil and isostearic acid complexed with lauryl amine (salt). The product exhibits a high degree of compatibility with anionic, cationic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants. Some properties exhibited by this product on skin or hair are excellent substantivity, conditioning effects, fly-away control softening properties, and enhanced wet and dry combing. Foamquat CHP can be used in skin care products and creams and lotions where it functions as a substantive cationic emulsifier which leaves a nongreasy, silky after feel.
