Trivent NP-10 is a highly branched, low molecular weight dry, silky ester that exhibits unique characteristics including extremely low freeze point, low viscosity good penetrating and anti-tacking power. Other outstanding qualities of Trivent NP-10 are solubility and compatibility in a variety of ingredients such as esters, silicones, mineral and vegetable oils. The unique properties of Trivent NP-10 lend themselves for use in numerous cosmetic applications; for example, light facial creams, body lotions, skin toners, skin-care products and bath oils. Additionally, Trivent NP-10 acts as a replacement for volatile silicones in antiperspirants where it reduces tackiness and prevents clogging in aerosols.
