Wickenol 131 is a highly branched emollient ester that allows it to exhibit a very low freeze point, good penetrating power, excellent solubility and compatibility in a wide variety of ingredients such as esters, silicones, mineral and vegetable oils. Emolliency, lubricity and moisturizing qualities are the outstanding features of Wickenol 131. It is recommended for use in a number of cosmetic applications including lipsticks, skin toners, bath oils, light creams and lotions where it exhibits softness and lubricity without oiliness. Finally, it can be used as a binder for pigmented products, pressed eye shadow and blushers.
