Wickenol 153 is a highly branched, light moisturizing emollient solvent ester. This branching allows it to exhibit unique physical as well as chemical characteristics, such as extremely low cloud point, low viscosity, good penetrating power without oiliness in addition to excellent solubility and compatibility in a variety of ingredients such as esters, volatile silicones, and mineral and vegetable oils. It is ideal for use in cosmetic applications such as creams, sunscreens, and makeup removers.

Wickenol 153 is a highly branched light moisturizing emollient solvent ester. This branching allows it to exhibit unique physical as well as chemical characteristics. They include extremely low cloud point, low viscosity, good penetrating power without oiliness in addition to excellent solubility and compatibility in a variety of ingredients such as esters, volatile silicones, mineral and vegetable oils. The unique properties of Wickenol 153 lend themselves for use in numerous cosmetic applications; i.e., creams, lotions, sunscreens, make-up removers, mascaras, lipsticks, etc. which help to offset the greasy texture of other ingredients such as mineral or vegetable oils, petrolatum and lanolin.
