Bernel Ester™ 185 is a highly branched emollient derived from vegetable source alcohol and branched carboxylic acid. It displays unique physical characteristics including low freeze point, low viscosity, good penetrating power, excellent solubility and compatibility in a variety of ingredients such as other esters and mineral and vegetable oils. Bernel Ester™ 185 is a nongreasy, long chain ester exhibiting substantive emolliency. It has an exceptionally low cloud point and, therefore, aids as a cloud and freeze point depressant, emulsion stabilizer and in freeze-in stability. It is reported to be a very mild emollient with a low level of skin and eye irritation as compared to other emollients such as isopropyl myristate. This advantageous quality suggests use in all types of cosmetic preparations recommended for superior skin care, particularly when applied in the vicinity of the eyes. It may also be used as a substitute for mineral oil and as a binder for pressed powder and dispersant for pigment in makeup and eye formulations.

Elefac™ I-205 is a low odor liquid with a light silky emolliency that is safe, non-sensitizing, non-comedogenic and has broad compatibility with organic and inorganic actives. Its excellent pigment wetting properties and low freeze point make it suitable for use as an emollient in sunscreen emulsions. It has actually been shown to increase the "SPF" in high SPF products. Elefac™ I-205 is also an excellent binder and emollient for pressed powder and has unusual stability in acid pH emulsions.

Dermol™ DISM is a fruit ester made from natural malic acid and highly branched alcohol, which allows it to exhibit an extremely low freeze point. It is an odorless, tasteless ester, that imparts gloss, sheen and lubricity with minimum oiliness. It is recommended as a good binder for pigmented products and is an excellent additive for imparting gloss and sheen in make-ups and lip products.

Polyderm PPI-SA-15 Salicylate is a naturally derived, water dispersible cationic polyurethane polyamine complexed with salicylic acid. This unique combination is suitable for use in many products in the personal care arena. Includes cleansing products like bath soaps and detergents, skin care products such as cold creams and anti-acne creams, and hair care products like anti-dandruff shampoo and hair conditioners.

Dermol™ 189 is a highly branched, low cloud point, light to medium emollient ester similar to the natural oil derived from waterfowl. It exhibits unique characteristics including extremely low freeze point, good penetrating power, excellent solubility and compatibility in a variety of ingredients such as esters, volatile silicones, mineral and vegetable oils. The unique properties of Dermol™ 189 lend themselves for use in numerous cosmetic applications, i.e., moisturizing facial creams and lotions, as a binder for pigmented products and for makeup removers. Because of its unique structure, branching and low viscosity, Dermol™ 189 also finds many uses as a solvent, solubilizer and plasticizer for nail enamels, acrylic coating and methyl methacrylatics.

Dermol MOS is a specialty blended ester that mimics the feel of mineral oil. It is non-greasy and non-oily.

Wickenol 150 is a highly branched emollient derived from vegetable source alcohol and branched carboxylic acid. It displays unique physical characteristics including low freeze point, low viscosity, good penetrating power, excellent solubility and compatibility in a variety of ingredients such as other esters and mineral and vegetable oils.

Dermol 145 is a monohydric alcoholic ester with a low freeze point. It is a non-greasy alternative to mineral oil.
