American Biosystems SUPER AO Fermentation Product

American Biosystems SUPER AO Fermentation Product is a highly concentrated blend of beneficial fungal cultures for inclusion in pelleted animal feeds or as a top dressed ingredient. Although the fungal alpha amylase present in Super AO is not capable of surviving in pelleting, the ingredient is still usefull in pelleted feeds. The product contains UGF’s (unidentified growth factors) which appear to improve microbial fermentation in vitro and in vivo in a variety of scientific publications. Super AO can be specifically assayed for this component and these growth factors are extremely resistant to heat experienced in pelleting. The addition of Super AO to a soy based diet allows for the degradation of oligiocaccharides such as raffinose and stachyose and a decrease in trypsin inhibitor. Larger protein molecules are degraded allowing for higher levels of amino acids such as lysine, methionine, and tyrosine.
