    Any component has mold or is excessively hot or has a yeasty or off aroma. Feed is hot at feed out or cattle back off feed within 6 hours. 1%
    Want to maintain feed quality for two to three days. Grain in ration subject to heating within 24 hours. 1
    Feed not holding as well as you would like for a reasonable time. Warm/humid weather shortening bunk life. 3/4
    Silage Qts/ton
    Visible mold on plant in field or windrow. Silo has a history of producing moldy and/or hot feed. Silage too dry- but no Iower than 40% moisture. Silage chopped a little to course. Silage structure is old. Good pack is difficult to achieve- pile etc. 1%
    Transferring well fermented silage from one structure to another. Silo has a history of producing silage with poor bunk life or rapid heating of feed out. Mold potential exists-warm, humid weather, delayed harvest due to weather. 1
