L-lactic acid has been widely used in food, tobacco medicine, daily cosmetics and other industries, and can be divided into the following categories according to specific uses:
- Food Industry: It is mainly used in food processing industries such as candy and beverages (such as beer, wine and lactic acid beverages) as a sour agent and taste regulator, and is known as a safe food additive. It can also be used for the processing and preservation of refreshing beverages and vegetables;
- Tobacco Industry: adding an appropriate amount of L-lactic acid can improve the quality of tobacco, maintain the humidity of the tobacco, and improve the taste;
- Pharmaceutical Industry: skin disease treatment, dialysate and oral health care. L-lactic acid is an important pharmaceutical intermediate, which can be used to produce erythromycin Ringer's solution infusion, L calcium lactate, L sodium lactate, L zinc lactate, L Drugs such as ferrous lactate can also be used as sterilizing and disinfecting agents in operating rooms, wards, laboratories, etc.;
- Cosmetic Industry: L lactic acid can be used as moisturizer, moisturizer, skin renewing agent, PH regulator, anti-acne agent, anti-tartar agent;

Storage & Handling
- Storage Conditions
It should be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse. The transportation tools should be cleaned during transportation to prevent the packaging barrels from being damaged. During re-storage and transportation, it is forbidden to mix storage and transportation with toxic, harmful, corrosive substances and other pollutants.
