A current significant research advancement lies in utilizing anti-microbial biomaterials in coating applications as AMPower® coat. This approach has the potential to minimize the lifespan of microbe particles on surfaces, thereby minimizing the cleaning cycle and halting the spread of microbe pollution on the surface.
The AMPower® coat makes use of a proprietary compound, which has been proven to be an anti-microbial polymer due to its ability to rupture the cell membranes by interaction with the polycationic chains. The surface activity has been studied by independent labs and this data is available upon request.
