Aqua Aero Coatings BV was founded in 2016 by Wouter Scheffer. Based on acquired experience in companies such as Blygold International, Thermoguard and Zamil Industrial, the involved HVAC&R coating formulas and application processes developed over time. One-component solvent based Polyurethane coatings were considered a standard all over the world to protect heat exchanging coils.

While working under the most aggressive exposure conditions in Saudi Arabia at Zamil, Wouter Scheffer recognized the need for innovation. Applying ‘old-school’ poisonous, people and environmentally unfriendly products in an OEM plant or at site results more and more often in exclusion from the business strategies of reputable HVAC&R companies. The idea to develop water based HVAC&R Coatings, that comply with the Environment, Health and Safety standards, was born.

AMPower

AMPower® coat originates from a surface that is capable of inactivating microbes by solvating and disrupting the lipid‐based envelope of the microbes, including bacteria and viruses.

AMPower® coat

Aqua Aero Coil Coating is resistant to the most devastating impact of marine, industrial and cleaning chemicals. The coating has no off-gas other than water during the curing process and is dry to handle 15 minutes after application.

Aqua Aero Aqua Aero Coil Coating

Multi coat AA is general name for a corrosion protection of the HVAC&amp;R unit panels, piping, compressors, grids etc. The general epoxy powder coat may act as a primer, or, on base metals, Mastic AA may act as a primer.

Aqua Aero Multi coat AA

Aqua Aero Pan coating is a two-component 100% solid self-leveling coating, applied to drain pans, water boxes etc. The corrosion resistance of Aqua Aero Pan coated drain pans is exceeding the quality of stainless steel drainpans at less than 30% of the cost, which is proven by independent laboratory tests.
