ISOLA AEA should be mixed first with water and added to damp aggregates. Cement is added last. Any other admixture should be added separately.
- Uses
ISOLA AEA is used in normal or zero slump concrete structures like roads, dams & reservoirs, airport runways/ taxi ways, precast concrete pipes and other mass structures.
- Dosage
Starting dosage is from 0.05 to 0.4 liter per 100 kilogram cement. Optimum dosage should first be determined bycarrying out trial mixes. It should be noted that increasing air content lowers the strength of concrete. For a given/ designed air content in concrete, quantity is varied and subject to many factors such as ingredients, ambient temperature, grading of sand/ aggregates, etc
- Compatability
ISOLA AEA is compatible with ISOPLAS BT, GN, BV and PS. However, each admixture should be addedseparately to the concrete mixture.

ISOLA AEA is mildly alkaline and may cause some skin irritation to sensitive persons. It is always advisable to wear impermeable rubber gloves and eye goggles when handing chemicals. If accidentally spilled on the skin or eyes, wash immediately with plenty of clean water. If irritation persist, seek medical attention. ISOLA AEA is nonflammable.
