ISOPOX EPL is used to bond fresh to old concrete such as found in building extensions, concrete repair, freshconcrete toppings to hardened floor slabs, granolithic floor toppings, etc. ISOPOX EPL is also an excellent adhesivefor bonding steel, ceramic, wood, and marble tiles.
- Directions For Use
- Surface preparation - hardened substrate must be structurally sound, clean, and free from dust, oil grease, curing compounds, coatings andother loose debris. Concrete surface should be washed with clean water followed by an air-sweep using oil-freecompressed air. All free-standing water should be removed. Preferably, the substrate should be dry.
- Mixing - the part b hardener is added to part a resin and mixed for at least 3 minutes until uniform in color.
- Application - apply mixed isopox epl by brush, broom or roller to the prepared substrate. Place topping before isopox eplloses tackiness.
- Theoretical coverage - actual coverage will vary depending on surface texture and porosity. Theoretical coverage is 2 square meters per liter at 500 microns thickness.
- Cleaning - Clean tools immediately using ISOKLEEN.
