A range of fluorescent pigments with a particle size of D50 = 3 – 7 µm. Its carrier is based on a melamine-formaldehyde resin that was especially developed for aerosols (spray cans) requiring high solvent and water resistance as well as better heat stability.
Pigments of the ARASOL-10 series retain particle size and shape in their end use application. In order to obtain clean intermediate color shades it is recommended to blend only with neighboring shades.
Brilliance and fluorescence (under UV light) can be increased by adding ARASOL-109 UV BLUE while reducing color strength.
These are fluorescent colorants that do not have a body color and are thus hidden to the naked eye under daylight conditions.
UV light fluorescent colorants can be seen only under UV light (black light) but do have different shades.
The products codes , which contain the UV suffix between the product code and the shade, indicate that the shade can only be seen under UV light, not under daylight.
