ARCOR® 8518 is a solvent-free, ceramic-filled, high-functionality epoxy Novolac coating specifically designed for both immersion and non-immersion service. This exceptional coating is particularly well-suited for aggressive acid and alkali environments with elevated temperatures and/or abrasion. Applied on ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as concrete, 8518 forms a resilient, chemical-resistant barrier. Its incorporation of Reactive Flexibility agents ensures excellent flexibility while maintaining outstanding resistance to chemicals and temperature, making it an ideal choice for large tank walls and floors without the need for fiberglass mat reinforcement.
