Cured with bisphenol-A or bisphenol-F or phenol novolac based epoxy resins. Ark 300 is most suitable as curing agent for
- Rapid cure at low temperature(down to 5°C)
- Combined with the advantages of polyamides and aliphatic polyamines for non-critical mixing ratios, wide range of pot life and flexibility alongwith good chemical and solvent resistance
- Cured coatings are drying faster and tackfree under low temperature and high humid
- conditions.
- Contains low free amine to ensure excellent blush free performance
- Its low viscosity reduces the handling problems of high viscosity phenalkamines
Applications & Uses
- Applications
- Compatible Polymers & Resins
- Applications
- Ideal for Marine /Industrial and surface tolerant coatings. Suitable for floorings, tank lining, and protective coatings.
- Ark 300 is designed for low to medium solids coatings with a workable wide range of pot lives and outstanding blush resistance.
- Recommended Mixing Ratios
Epoxy resin ( EEW = 190 ) such as Epon 828 or GY 250 100 parts by weight Hardener Ark 300 150 parts by weight

Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
- Minimum One Year
- Storage and Stability
Epoxy Hardener Ark 300 should be stored in a cool dry place at 18 – 25 °C in the sealed container to achieve shelf life of minimum one year. Product can react with moisture and carbon dioxide in the air. This may result in increase viscosity and reduce its activity.
- Handling Precautions
- May be harmful if ingested or absorbed through the skin and can cause sensitization.
- Will cause severe irritation in contact with eye And skin. Wash thoroughly after handling.
- Adequate ventillation is essential.
- Containers should be tightly closed when not in use or during transportation.
- Do not inhale mist or vapors .
- It is recommended to use gloves, safety glasses and protective clothing for safe handling.
