Asphalt Coatings Engineering (ACE) is a manufacturer and supplier of asphalt maintenance materials. ACE supplies customers throughout the entire state of California as well as in parts of Nevada and Utah. Asphalt Coatings Engineering began life as franchise of Sealmaster and Wikel Manufacturing in 1985. In 1987 Don Forsyth purchased the franchise from Wikel Manufacturing and until 1995 the business was known as Sealmaster of California. In 1995 Don formally ended his relationship with Sealmaster and reincorporated as Asphalt Coatings Engineering, Inc. In 1998 Don’s son-in-law, Carl Reed, joined the company full time as a salesperson and welder. Don Forsyth officially retired in 2010 and Carl Reed took over ownership and day to day operations, though Don continues to make appearances from time to time. In 2020 Asphalt Coatings Engineering celebrated its 35th year of operations in its original Central California location and looks forward to many more years of serving the asphalt maintenance material needs of customers throughout the West.

It can be used on any asphalt surface, including parking lots, driveways, airport runways, traffic islands, golf cart paths, and etc. It is clear, when dry.

Asphalt Coatings Engineering Ace Seal

Asphalt Coatings Engineering Elasto Flex 670 is a hot applied, polymer-modified crack and joint sealant for use with asphalt and concrete pavements. This product applies and sets up best in up to hot temperatures, and is highly durable in cold to very hot climates. It is self-leveling, fast setting and quick melting. It is formulated with a medium viscosity for all-around ease of application, it is ideal for highways, county roads, municipal streets, parking lots and pathways. It delivers high performance at a moderate cost.

Asphalt Coatings Engineering Ace Seal HD is an asphalt product combining selected fillers and suitable additives with a 3% polymer-modified asphalt emulsion. It contains no coal tar and is, therefore, acceptable on school playgrounds and tennis courts as well as any off-highway asphalt surface.

Asphalt Coatings Engineering Flex Crax is an elastomeric, asphalt emulsion cold pour crack sealant used to fill cracks up to ½ in width. It maintains excellent flexibility at temperatures as low as -15°F on asphalt and concrete surfaces. It is designed for any asphalt surface, including parking lots, airports, driveways, tennis courts, play areas, walkways, basketball courts, traffic islands, playgrounds, paddle ball courts, squash courts, and golf cart paths. It is black, when dry.
