- Salt Selection
All salts are not equally appropriate for inclusion in premixes. Avitech adds a nutritionist’s perspective while selecting salts and the salt selection process strictly meets the below criteria
Criteria Key Considerations Avitech’s Policy Safety Heavy metals, toxic metabolites, antibiotics Regular evaluation of heavy metals, separate lines for medicated / non-medicated premixes Bio - Availability Generally sulfate salts preferable, lump formation (agglomeration) risks Preference to sulfate salts.
