"Axter Agroscience has been active in the foliar fertilizer sector for more than 30 years. Originally known as OLIGOSOL Ltd, our company then concentrated its activities in the development and manufacturing of high performance foliar fertilizer solutions that were used in the fruit and vegetable markets.

In 1991, Axter Agroscience initiated the development of biostimulants that helped crops recuperate more quickly after the application of post-emergence herbicides or stressful conditions. The success of this research program led to the introduction of CROP BOOSTER® and of RR SOYBOOSTER®, two products that improve yield and quality of row crops in Canada.

The new owners of Axter Agroscience have renewed its important commitment towards R&D. The company will continue to test the efficiency of its well known biostimulants formulations when mixed with herbicides and agrochemicals presently used by Canadian farmers. Axter Agroscience will also collaborate with different independent research centers and universities with the objective of developing even better new technologies.

In 2014, Axter’s management team purchased the company with the financial support of Avrio Ventures Limited Partnership II, a Canadian Investment Fund specializing in Agriculture and Food. This transaction provides perfect continuity and presents a great opportunity to get closer to existing and new customers by extending our presence in the Canadian market."

Micronutrients are essential for plant survival, but are required in very small quantities. Micronutrients are applied to soils or are foliar applied. It is possible that under certain conditions, plants cannot uptake from the soil the quantities of micronutrients necessary to support growth; using a foliar applied nutritive solution from Axter Agroscience may solve the problem. The OLIGO line of nutritive solutions was created to supply micronutrients to crops in order to prevent deficiencies from appearing or to correct deficiencies that have already appeared.

SPECIAL® K 2.0 30% K₂O is a foliar nutrient solution. This product does not contain any chloride and has a low salt index. This product can be applied to all crops. Applications of this product must be based on leaf or soil analysis, deficiency symptoms or plant requirements. Shake well before product is poured into sprayer.

OLIGO® B 2.0

Nitro♦C® is a carbon rich nutrient solution derived from organic acids, urea and phosphoric acid. Due to this special formulation, Nitro♦C® promotes better nutrient absorption through the roots and the leaves. The carbon in this formulation is derived from an exclusive blend of humic and fulvic acids. This carbon source has special physical and chemical characteristics. This special carbon source acts as complexing agent. This complexing agent enables an increase in nutrient absorption and translocation in the plant. The increase in nutrient efficiency provided by Nitro♦C® promotes different plant physiologocal processes. This favors better plant growth, better flowering, and better ripening during the growing season.

OLIGO® Ca 2.0 6% Calcium is a foliar nutrient solution. This product can be applied to all crops. Applications of this product must be based on leaf or soil analysis, deficiency symptoms or plant requirements. Shake well before product is poured into sprayer.

CALSTIK™ C12

CropBioLife is a new flavonoid based biostimulant. Flavonoids are used by all plants in different physiological processes like ripening, coloring, reproduction and plant response to disease pressure. CropBioLige acts as a "Nutrient Synergists" due to the fact flavonoids improve the plant’s capabilities of exchange with the soil biology and soil solution. This happens through the increase of plant exudation into the root zone. Plant roots and seeds exudate a variety of molecules into the rhizosphere including acids, sugars, polysaccharides and ectoenzymes.

PERFORMANCE® 2.0 is a plant food solution formulated to reduce transplant stresses and stimulate root development. Furthermore PERFORMANCE® 2.0 can be used to stimulate some plant physiological functions like, flower set, maturation and others. This product can be applied to all crops. Aminocore complex is a short chain peptide and L-α- amino acid-based liquid product from enzymatic hydrolysis for foliar application. The product also contains fulvic acids and plant extracts. Aminocore complex can be applied to all types of crops: leaf vegetables, fruit vegetables, strawberries, stone fruit trees, pome fruit trees, citrus, olive trees, vines, tropical fruit trees, industrial crops, field crops, etc.
