Application

CalstikTM C12 is recommended for use as a supplement to a complete fertilizer program that is adapted to the fertility level of the soil. 

FOLIAR TREATMENT: For best results, treat early in the season. Treat the crop when actively growing, early in the morning, late in the day or during overcast periods. Use a  minimum of 200 L/ha of water in cash crops and a minimum of 300 L/ha of water for horticultural crops. If the spray solution is too concentrated, slight injury to the leaves may occur.

Rate of Application

Fruit trees

  • 5 L/ha every 7 to 10 days, starting 10 days after Calyx until harvest.

Rasberries and strawberries

  • 5 L/ha Every 7 days, starting at first signs of fruit coloring until the end of harvest. This treatment will greatly improve shelf life and fruit firmness.

Broccoli and cauliflower

  • 2.5 L/ha Every 7 days from the beginning of head formation until harvest, specially during fast growth periods following hot and dry conditions.

Cabbages

  • 5 L/ha during every growth spurt period following hot and dry conditions.

Carrots

  • 5 L/ha make 3 treatments at 2 weeks interval starting when foliage has reached 15 to 20 cm.

Celery

  • 5 L/ha during every growth spurt period following hot and dry conditions.

Lettuce

  • 5 L/ha during every growth spurt period following hot and dry conditions.

Peppers and tomatoes

  • 2.5 L/ha make 3 applications 1 week apart starting a week after formation of first fruit. Repeat during every growth spurt period following hot and dry conditions.
Usage Concentration

In general, for horticultural crops, use at a maximum concentration of 2% of the solution. (ex application of 4.0 L/ha should be applied with a minimum of 200 L of water/ha).

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
