Heat transfer oils are suitable for use in industrial closed systems and low temperature open systems.
Heat transfer oils are specifically recommended for low atmospheric temperature work by asphalt users who need a means of heating all bitumens outdoors. The recommended maximum temperature range for closed systems is 315°C and for open systems 180°C.
