It also upports rheology (viscosity increase, dimensional stability of toothpaste) by improving body and foam texture/mouthfeel, supports shine and a glossy surface of toothpaste/gel and acts as a humectant.

Pluracare ® E 600 is a polyethylene glycol that conforms to the general formula HO(CH2CH2O)nH and is especially suited for the demands of the cosmetics industry. It has a setting point of approximately 20°C, a density of approximately 1.14 g/cm3, a clear melting point of approximately 20°C, and a flash point of approximately 250°C. This product has an average molecular weight of 14,600, a viscosity of 2,800 cP, and a pour/melt point of 57°C.

Pluracare® F 127 NF Prill is a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide and has the general functionality of surfactants, emulsifiers, solubilizers and stabilizers in preparations where the quality of poloxamer may be required. This product has an average molecular weight of 12,600, a viscosity of 3,100 cP, and a pour/melt point of 56°C.

Pluracare® F 127 Prill is a block co-polymer that functions as a thickener, gelling agent, co-emulsifier, and bodying agent in toothpastes, mouthwashes, creams, and liquid emulsions. It is mainly used in skin care, oral care, hair, and scalp care formulations.

Pluracare® F127 NF Prill FLEX is a block co-polymer with an average molecular weight consists of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide. It is used as a thickener, gelling agent, co-emulsifier and bodying agent in toothpastes, mouthwashes, creams and liquid emulsions.

Pluracare® L 1220 copolymer is a product resulting from the reaction between ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO). It is used as a solubilizer for flavors and fragrances in aqueous and hydro-alcoholic systems, such as mouthwashes. It enhances whitening efficacy and provides binding and retention to the tooth surface, as well as stain prevention benefits. This product is often combined with Pluracare® L 4370 to form anhydrous bases for personal care formulations, including toothpastes.

Pluracare® L 64 G is a block copolymer of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol that is used as an emulsifier in a wide variety of areas, from cosmetics to oral care products. It has a cloud point of 58-62°C, an average molecular weight of approx. 2,900, and a viscosity of approx. 850 mPas. This block copolymer is anhydrous and non-corrosive. Therefore, mild steel can be used for storage tanks, piping and conventional process equipment.
