Omega-3-acid triglycerides (CN 600 TG) is a pale-yellow liquid comprised of a minimum of 30 per cent eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and a minimum of 20 per cent docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) presented as triglycerides (Ph. Eur. 1352 current ed.). The content of EPA and DHA triglycerides is a minimum 50 per cent and the content of total omega-3-acid triglycerides is a minimum 60 per cent. Tocopherol is added as an antioxidant. CN 600 TG is a concentrated and purified fish oil made from body oil of wild fatty fish. Alpha-tocopherol is added as antioxidant. No other additives. CN 600 TG is intended for use as an ingredient in finished formulations intended for parenteral use, for the supply of omega-3 fatty acids and energy when prescribed by a physician.
