Cutina® PES builds up good viscosity and stability of an o/w emulsion with different emulsifier systems (ionic and non-ionic), while at the same time creating a non-waxy and caring skin feel. It comes in off-white, wax-like pellets with a little intrinsic odor, and the consistency of wax with sensorial properties. This product is ideally used for body care, face care, sensitive skin, and baby care applications.

Emulgade® NLB is a well-balanced, robust, nonionic cream base that is suitable for low pH values, low viscosities, and high levels of electrolytes, like in AP/deo roll-ons and O/W lotions. It is supplied in white, colorless, wax-like pellets with a faint, characteristic odor.

Rheocare® TTA is a rheology additive that provides thickening, stabilizing, and suspending properties in surfactant systems, ideal for transparent formulations. It appears as a white/semi-translucent aqueous emulsion and is suitable for use in baby care and cleansing, color care, face cleansing, hair coloring, liquid soap, shampoo, shower/bath products, and styling.

Tinovis® ADE is an anionic acrylic copolymer dispersed in a hydrogenated polydecene carrier phase. It is designed for use in a range of applications in the cosmetics industry, specifically in skin creams, moisturizers, and toners. This product is used to enhance the performance of skin care formulations with a typical application level in a skin cream of approximately 1% polymer as supplied. Tinovis® ADE primarily functions as a thickener, gelling agent, and promotes good spreading characteristics. It also serves as an opacifier and a spreading and stabilizing agent.

Dehymuls® PGPH is used as a water-in-oil emulsifier for the preparation of low-viscous water-in-oil emulsions. In combination with Lameform® TGI and/or Monomuls® 90-O 18, W/O creams can be formulated that contain greater fractions of high molecular oils, e.g., vegetable oils. It is a yellow, turbid, opaque, and viscous liquid with a slightly fatty characteristic odor. Dehymuls® PGPH is flexible in use with ethanol and emollients, independent of emollients, and cold-processable.

Eumulgin® B3 is a universally applicable, non-ionic emulsifier for cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions. It is suitable for a variety of personal care applications including face care, body care, hair care, and sun care. It is supplied in the form of white to slightly yellowish pellets.

Cetiol® RLF is a light emollient produced by the enzymatic process from 100% natural and renewable feedstocks. Approved by the NPA as well as other major personal care certification organizations, Cetiol® RLF spreads quickly and has a pleasant, dry skin feel. This product is ideally used for body care, face care and baby care.

Cutina® FS 45 is a mixture of palmitic acid and stearic acid, serving as an emulsifier and consistency wax for skin care emulsions. It is supplied as small white to yellowish pearls and can be used in various personal care applications, including after sun, baby care and cleansing, body care, color care, face care, face cleansing, self-tanning, and sun protection.

BASF Vitamin E-Acetate Care is an active ingredient that is used in cosmetic products for skin and hair applications. It is an effective moisturizing agent that improves the elasticity and smoothness of the skin. It is used in cosmetic emulsions, such as sunscreens, body lotions, hand creams, body creams, day and night facial creams, and multi-vitamin creams.

Emulgade® SE-PF is a self-emulsifying base with consistency-giving properties, suited for the preparation of cosmetic and pharmaceutical oil-in-water creams and lotions. It has high emollient flexibility and good electrolyte stability. It is a mixture of consistency-giving factors and nonionic emulsifiers, appearing as white to slightly yellowish pellets with a faint characteristic odor.

Emulgade® CM is a liquid emulsion concentration for the preparation of creams and lotions. This product is especially suitable for wet wipes. It is easy to handle and is suitable for simple cold processing to achieve low- to medium-viscous O/W emulsions.

Neutrol® MGDA is a highly stable, eco-friendly complexing agent (also called a chelating agent) for personal care applications. This is BASF’s Care Creations®, which is readily biodegradable and stands out due to its excellent ecological and toxicological profile. Complexing agents are used in cosmetic products to form very stable complexes with metal ions, thereby inactivating their negative influences on the final formulation.

Emulgade® CPE is a natural-based liquid emulsion concentrate for the preparation of creams and lotions, especially suitable for personal care wet wipe applications. It can be used for the simple cold preparation of most types of o/w emulsions and contains the typical ingredients of cosmetic o/w emulsions.

Eumulgin® B 25 (NA) is a cosmetic-grade oil-in-water emulsifier that is used to produce ointments, creams, liquid emulsions, gels, and other cosmetic formulations. They are supplied in the form of free-flowing, non-dusting micro-granules that dissolve in water and alcohol to form either a colloid or a clear solution. Eumulgin® B 25 (NA) is soluble in vegetable and mineral fats and oils. The warm emulsifiers can be mixed with mineral, vegetable, and synthetic fats and oils, as well as with fatty alcohols, fatty acids, mono- and di-stearates, and polyethylene glycols. Creams and lotions can be formulated easily with this product, and they are very efficient protective colloid systems that can increase the stability of dispersed systems.

Sqisandryl® LS 9905 is a plant extract from the Schisandra chinesis fruit, one of the fifty most important plants in Chinese herbal medicine. This natural, eco-friendly berry encourages skin’s natural elasticity and toning and is protective against oxidation and pollution stress.

Cremophor® GS 32 is a distearate ester of triglycerol, with good physiological compatibility (PEG-free). It is a nonionic emulsifier that is suitable for emulsions with high concentrations of natural oils and UV filters and is an alternative to EO or sulfate-based emulsifiers. It can be used in face and body creams for dry and greasy skin, as well as in sun protection preparations.

Emulgade® F is an anionic self-emulsifying cream base for various O/W emulsions, including hair coloring. This product is suitable for low-viscosity systems. Its consistency-giving properties make it suitable for the preparation of cosmetic oil-in-water creams and lotions. It is a white to slightly yellowish product with a faint characteristic odor that is supplied in pellets.

Cegesoft® VP is an oil and wax blend that is used as a basic mass for the preparation of sticks, especially for decorative cosmetics and waxy components for cosmetic emulsions. With its hydrating properties, it is an effective moisturizer that improves skin comfort and feel.

BASF 1,2-propylene glycol care is a versatile ingredient suitable for use in various personal care applications such as mouthwashes, toothpastes, ointments, skin creams, shampoos, and perfumes. It is a multifunctional ingredient that can provide numerous benefits to personal care products.

BASF AM 600 PF is an opaque liquid that is over 30% silicone in a pourable, sprayable, water-dispersible form. Some of its benefits include nano-dispersion from ultra-high shear processing that improves both texture and ease of formulation, a rich and elegant initial feel, a short to medium play time, and a silky afterfeel. It provides a moisture barrier, reduces tack and drag, and is ideal for sunscreens and water-proofing.

Lanette® 22 is a consistency factor composed of Behenyl alcohol (1-docosanol) suitable for all kinds of o/w emulsions. It can be used in applications such as after sun, antiperspirants and deodorants, baby care and cleansing, body care, color care, conditioning, face care, face cleansing, self tanning, and sun protection.

Lanette® W is an anionic self-emulsifying base composed of cetearyl alcohol and sodium lauryl sulfate, providing properties that give consistency for the preparation of cosmetic oil-in-water creams and lotions. This product is specifically suitable for hair and scalp care formulations.

BASF Vitamin A-Palmitate Care (1.0 BHT) is stabilized with BHT and is an active ingredient suitable as an antioxidant for cosmetic oils, emulsions, and other preparations. It releases vitamin A on contact with enzymes in the skin, to help improve signs of aging and the appearance of UV-damaged skin. It is a retinyl palmitate, all-trans-retinol palmitic acid ester that is supplied as a viscous, yellow oil that may contain some crystals, and has a mild odor.
