Hydagen® Aquaporin is made of highly concentrated glyceryl glucoside. One of the fundamental processes of life is the transportation of water molecules through the surface layer of the cells. The structure of these channels was clarified in the 1990s, and the corresponding proteins were named aquaporins. The discovery of these water canals was awarded with the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 2003. BASF now makes one of the best-known aquaporin-supporting substances available to the broad cosmetic market. Clinical studies show that Hydagen® Aquaporin boosts the moisturizing capacity of glycerin for instant and 24-hour hydration.

BASF Retinol 10 SU is an active ingredient for the cosmetics industry. It counteracts skin aging and improves the appearance of UV-damaged skin. It is soluble in soybean oil and has an assay of approximately 10%. This product is supplied as a yellow oil with crystals at low temperatures.

Cegesoft® PS 6 is a slow-spreading emollient that gives a luxurious, long-lasting feel on the skin. Its spreading properties are similar to those of paraffin oil and it is based on a special canola oil high in erucic acid and with a high content of oleic (omega-9) and linoleic (omega-6) acid. It is a clear, slightly yellow, and odorless oil.

Good performance for cleaning and foam control. Suitable for high-temperature cleaning (greater than 60°C). The cloud point is 30°C, so it has very low foaming above that temperature, which is ideal for carpet extraction operating temperatures (typically 35 to 50°C). Listed on the EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List, it is a low-foaming fatty alcohol EO/PO derivative.

Lamesoft® Balance by BASF is a biodegradable, efficient stabilizer for rinse-off products. It stabilizes wax dispersions in cleaning products for skin and hair. This product can be processed cold and is easy to formulate. It exhibits a structure-improving effect to stabilize wax-based opacifiers, even in low-viscosity formulations. This product offers an appealing, uniform rheology in the finished product. It prevents the aggregation of fine wax particles and reduces the sedimentation speed in surfactant systems, especially in micellar thickeners. Polyquart® PN 60 is a clear to slightly hazy liquid with a concentration of 40%. This multifunctional cationic polyethylenimine is designed for use in the detergent and cleaner industry, especially in strong acidic or strong alkaline power cleaners, due to its hydrophilic surface modification properties.

Hydrasensyl® Glucan Green merges the beneficial properties of hyaluronic acid and collagen. Its structure enables Hydrasensyl® Glucan to bind large amounts of water in the skin like a natural water super-absorber. At the same time, the polysaccharide chains are intertwined to form a rope-like, highly resilient triple helix like collagen. Cutina® AGS is a pearlizing and opacifying agent for cleansing formulations, shampoos, shower and bath preparations, and liquid soaps. It is supplied as a white to slightly yellowish powder, small flakes, or pastilles/pearls and is composed of ethylene glycol distearate.
