Viton® 1/16" Rubber was originally introduced over 50 years ago to meet the needs of the aerospace industry for a high-performance elastomer. Since then, the use of Viton® has spread to many other industries, including the automotive, fluid power, appliance and chemical industries. Viton® fluoroelastomer has developed a reputation for its outstanding performance in very hot and extremely corrosive environments. Viton® fluoroelastomer is particularly valued for its excellent heat stability and resistance to aggressive fuels and chemicals. Viton® fluoroelastomer is the most specified fluoroelastomer for fuel systems seals, expansion joints and gaskets.

Viton® 1/16" Rubber

Bay Rubber Company EPDM O-Ring Cord is excellent for general applications requiring resistance to ozone, weathering, high temperatures, and some chemicals. Offered in a variety of of shapes and sizes. EPDM O-Ring Cord has good elongation properties as well as adequate resilience, tensile and compression set.

Viton® 1/4" Rubber

Bay Rubber Company MEDIUM CLOSED CELL SILICONE SPONGE 1/2" THICK is an outstanding combination of silicone rubbers overall properties and closed cell sponge€™s utility. The silicone elastomer is expanded creating the closed cell structure prior to a heat cure process. Once at Bay Rubber Company silicone sponge is available in rolls, by the foot, slit or cut using any number of fabricating capabilities. Pressure sensitive adhesive is available for most silicone sponge products. Silicone sponge provides solutions for nearly every industry in large part due to its range of physical properties.

Viton® 3/32" Rubber

Bay Rubber Company NITRILE RUBBER COMMERCIAL GRADE has a number of good properties including good resistance to petroleum oils and aromatic hydrocarbons. NBR or Nitrile Buna-N Rubber is highly resistant to mineral oils, vegetable oils, and many harsh chemicals. It also has good elongation properties as well as adequate resilience, tensile strength and compression set. Applications of nitrile rubber include: fuel tanks, fuel tank gaskets, petroleum gaskets and fuel related rubber applications. Nitrile rubber is now commonly found in laboratories and facilities where testing involving chemicals takes place. Nitrile rubber holds up well in marine diesel tanks and aviation fuel gaskets.
