Beijing THTD Pharmaceutical 1,2-Octanediol is effective as a moisturizer with broad range of anti-microbial activity as a preservative. It reduce/eliminate preservatives like paraben，Formaldehyde-donors or Phenoxyethanol. It is a based preservative like sorbate, benzoate and dehydroacetate for effective preservation of personal care formulations free of parabens or iodine.
