Stimulans® is the result of extensive microbiological research on the skin microbiome. It is developed from the lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus brevis DSM17250. By stimulating the growth of protective bacteria ( Staphylococcus epider-midis ) on the skin, these beneficial skin bacteria and healthy skin functions are strengthened and inflammation germs (such as: Staphylococcus aureus ) reduced.
