- Application Information
Usable Life - Belzona 3131 is moisture-activated. Opened containers should not be left overnight or skinning will occur.
Drying Time - The touch dry and overcoat time is dependent on ambient conditions including temperature, humidity and wind speed but will normally be between 4-6 hours. It is resistant to rain “wash-out” immediately.
Coverage Rates- The first layer is applied to a dry film thickness of 20 mil (500 micron). This dry film thickness measurement includes the synthetic reinforcing sheet. The second layer should be applied to a dry film thickness of 10 mil (250 micron), giving an overall film thickness of approximately 30 mil (750 micron). Refer to the IFU for a guide to practical coverage rates.
