Berjé Inc METHYL ANTHRANILATE is somewhat musty and floral, with a woody undertone. It is commonly used as a fragrance ingredient for a variety of applications in the fragrance industry. It is available in liquid form and is TSCA-listed (USA). This product is a colorless aromatic chemical with a flavor highly reminiscent of concord grapes, commonly used in fruit compositions. Sweet and fruity with a slightly floral nuance, this aromatic is especially popular in grape flavorings for products such as wine, liquor, and chewing gum. It is also sometimes used in perfumery for its oriental, somewhat woody undertones. Other functions of this product include its use as a bird repellent as well as its role in producing common Schiff bases.
