Bio-Green Planet® Penicillium bilaiae is a fungus widely used for its ability to solubilize phosphorus (P) and increase its availability in soil. P. bilaiae also increases available potassium (K). The strain secretes organic acids that release mineral-bound phosphates, making them available for root uptake. P. bilaiae may be used as a seed treatment on crops like corn or may be applied through drip or spray irrigation. P. bilaiae enhances the uptake of P and K and leads to both crop yield and quality gains.

Bio-Green Planet® Trichoderma harzianum is a naturally occurring fungi that has wide-ranging beneficial functions in soil, including helping plants fight off diseases. The strain is well-known for its ability to stimulate and improve plants' resistance to a variety of fungal pathogens, including various species of Fusarium, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Phytophthora, and other pathogenic fungi that cause root, stem, and fruit rot.

Bio-Green Planet® Pseudomonas protegens is a commonly found beneficial soil bacteria, known for its wide-ranging crop health and disease prevention benefits. It has an established role in promoting plant health and is also known for its fast growth rate and metabolism. P. protegens is strictly aerobic (functions with oxygen) and is able to solubilize phosphorus (P). The strain is a close relative to Pseudomonas fluorescens and shares many of the same characteristics.

Through the breakdown of these tougher materials, T. atrobrunneum provides carbon and nitrogen that promotes strong root development and enhances nutrient utilization. Bio-Green Planet® Bacillus mucilaginosus makes phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and silica (Si) more available for plant uptake.
