Bio-Vet researches, manufactures and markets innovative direct fed microbial (probiotic) products. Founded in 1991, as a division of a larger animal nutrition company, we incorporated in 1996 and have functioned as an independent entity ever since. In 1994, Bio-Vet received its first patent (U.S. Patent 5,310,555) for its capsule-in-a-capsule© packaging technique for direct fed microbial and nutritional combinations. This innovative system continues to be the flagship for Bio-Vet and all direct fed microbial/nutritional combination products. We now hold two patents for this critical packaging technique. Today, we offer a complete line of products, including capsules, boluses, pastes, soluble powders, calf and cattle electrolytes and daily feed additives. Our product line continues to expand as new technology in the direct fed microbial industry becomes available. Bio-Vet products are key components of a complete nutritional program for livestock.

They are especially useful post-calving, at receiving, during the transition, shipping or handling, and for off-feed cattle or those receiving veterinary treatment. Pecti-Cap™ Cattle Capsules contain, fiber (pectins) to help normalize intestinal consistency, electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate) that improve water retention and maintain proper body fluid levels, vitamins and trace minerals.
