Olecol® is a proprietary olive leaf extract, standardized for high oleuropein content (>32%), a powerful olive phytonutrient. This ingredient offers a natural, safe, multi-target approach to managing blood lipids and improving cardiovascular health.



Olecol® exerts a hypocholesterolemic effect by increasing the cholesterol secretion into the bile, which is then discharged into the duodenum and excreted through the feces.



Additionally, Olecol® decreases endogenous cholesterol biosynthesis via the down-regulation of the genes involved in the process (HMG-CoA and ACAT)



Olecol® efficacy is supported by three clinical studies on subjects with dyslipidaemia and overweight subjects. A daily dose of 250 mg of Olecol® results in the following health benefits:
