Acai oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids (it contains over 38% of oleic acid-omega-9), in vitamin E as well as in polyphenols. Acai oil contains a high amount of antioxidants, helping to protect the skin against free radical damage and oxidation of the cells. Its richness in Omega 9 and Omega 6 ensures elasticity to the skin as well as anti-inflammatory activity. Indeed, new research reveals this nutrient’s power of omega to combat chronic inflammation.

Acai oil is highly recommendable to formulate cosmetic products with moisturizing, emollient and repairing activities, including hair care products. It can also be introduced in soothing formulation.
