Biocosmethic Organic Deodorized Pumpkin Seed Oil

Organic Deodorized Pumpkin Seed Oil is a greenish to brown liquid, vegetable oil that is obtained by a cold pressing process of the organic seeds of Cucurbita pepo and then lightly steam deodorized to remove some of the odor. The medicinal use of Pumpkin Seeds was adopted by Oriental healers sometime in the 17th century. In America, the native Indians utilized the plant for medicine as well as for food. An emulsion made from a mixture of Pumpkin and watermelon seeds served to heal wounds for members of the Yuma tribe. The seeds of the pumpkin are rich in many nutrients including: Phosphorus, Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamins E, A, riboflavin, thiamin, niacin and the precious essential fatty acids (EFAs).
