- Color or transparency of vegetable oils may evolve after production without affecting the properties of the product. In case of turbidity, filter before using. Thank to its content in palmitic and stearic acids, seabuckthorn oil is recommendable to formulate cosmetic products with firmness, smoothing and softening properties. Linoleic and linolenic acids help to reduce the effects of sunburns and soothes the skin. Omega fatty acids: omega-9 (oleic acid), omega-6 (linoleic acid), and omega-3 (linolenic acids) contributes to reduce trans-epidermal water loss and to improve the skin hydration level. This oil can be also introduced in hair care products such as shampoos, hair conditioners in order to support regeneration of damaged hair, restores its elasticity and ensures smoothness. It is also significant that sea-buckthorn oil, thanks to its intensive color, improves skin tone after direct application on skin, giving it a fresh and healthy appearance.
