Refined vegetable oil obtained by pressure from the seeds of Aleurites moluccanus. Kukui oil has dermatological applications in skin moisturizers because of its light color and low viscosity. The oil is ideal for delicate, sensitive, or dry skin, and is pure and gentle enough to use in baby care formula. Kukui oil effective in preventing dry skin, by forming a thin film on the skin. The oil can be used in massage as the oil is readily absorbed into the skin without leaving a greasy film. It is also useful for conditioning the hair.
