    Suggested Use: Take 6 Tablespoons, 1 or more times daily, in 6 to 8 ounces of purified water or juice. Mixes easily in shaker cup.

    Veggie Protein Plus can be used in both hot and cold beverages. However, it is recommended to be mixed with water or other fruit juice. It is NOT recommended to mix Veggie Protein Plus with papaya or pineapple juice as it may deactivate the protein.

    Whole Grain Brown Rice Protein Concentrate

    Whole Grain Brown Rice Protein is an excellent source of vegan, hypo-allergenic protein. It is being used as a replacement for Soy Protein and Whey Protein in food grade products including protein supplements, bars and nutritional drinks. Rice protein concentrate is very low in factors causing flatulence. Veggie Protein Plus uses non-GMO sprouted brown rice and has an amino acid profile closest to mother's milk. Derived from whole grain brown rice, this new ingredient can reach a purity of 90 per cent protein. It is the only wholegrain rice protein on the market, with the entire brown rice kernel being used in the processing. The process uses natural enzymes that digest the carbohydrate portion and leave the protein, with no traces of additives or chemicals.

    Yellow Pea Protein Isolate – Non-GMO

    This is a natural food-grade yellow pea protein isolate, which offers a high level of functionality and nutrition. The raw materials, Golden Canadian field peas are not genetically modified. It is therefore suitable for a GMO-free label. Veggie Protein Plus's Yellow Pea Protein is comprised of an excellent amino acid profile, and is absent in gluten, lactose, saturated fat and anti-nutritional factors.

    It's safe for all types of vegetarians, vegans and is Kosher certified. Yellow Pea Protein is absorbed into the digestive system at a slower rate when compared to other proteins. This enables the body to absorb more amino acids needed to help daily body function.

    DigeZyme – Organic Multi-Enzyme Complex

    DigeZyme complex consists mainly of amylase, a starch hydrolyzing enzyme, protease, a protein hydrolyzing enzyme and lipase, fat hydrolyzing enzymes. In addition to these, it also contains cellulase, which hydrolyzes cellulose, reducing the risk of cellulites. The lactase present in DigeZyme hydrolyzes lactose, making ingestion for the lactose-intolerant safe. The enzymes in this complex are of microbial origin, such as fungal amylase, lipase, lactase, cellulase and a bacterial neutral protease. The product is therefore entirely of non-animal origin and it is also Kosher certified. DigeZyme derives from Aspergillus oryzae, fermented grain, which is most commonly used in the Japanese and Chinese cultures.

    Fibersol-2 – Digestion Resistant Soluble Dietary Fiber

    This soluble dietary fiber is a spray-dried powder produced by the pyrolysis and controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of cornstarch. It is considered a digestion resistant maltodextrin, which is readily dispersible in water, then appears crystal clear, carries no inherent flavor and does not thicken. It has very good anti-acid properties and can be cooked in foods, even at high temperatures. Part of Fibersol-2®'s ability to increase pro-biotic levels of bifidobacterium in the large intestine is because a great deal is delivered to that part of the intestinal tract. It escapes digestion in the upper gastrointestinal tract and then is metabolized by the friendly intestinal bacteria in the lower tract.

    Because of the slower absorption, Fibersol-2® has positive effects on blood glucose levels. It moderates postprandial blood glucose levels and lowers insulin secretion, which could reduce accumulated body fat. Studies also showed a reduction of fat accumulation in internal organs. Concurrent findings indicate that Fibersol-2® improves carbohydrate metabolism, which affects serum saturated fat levels. It lowers total saturated fat by lowering LDL-saturated fat levels without a change in HDL-saturated fat levels. It also lowers serum triglyceride levels in both healthy adults and Type II diabetes patients.
