BIOGRUND’s one-step binding agent CompactCel® provides an easy to use, granulated and homogeneous compound of PVP/NaCMC or HPC/NaCMC, which acts as a perfect dry binder. CompactCel® increases the hardness and improves the friability of the tablet. BIOGRUND recommends using 2–5% within the core formulation to achieve best results. Both compositions can be used for pharmaceutical and nutritional applications. CompactCel® is also available in some formulations which are certified with the USDA- and EU-label for organic food.Therefore, it is well suited for organic nutritional supplements.The mix of selected organic ingredients increases the hardness and improves the friability of the tablet as well as the compaction.

BIOGRUND’s one-step film coating system AquaPolish® provides a protective and fast release film on tablets, pellets, granules and capsules. It is a unique, dry milled, homogeneous blend of selected film-forming cellulose ethers with plasticizing and coloring additives.

BIOGRUND’s one-step film coating system BonuLac® provides a protective film with excellent moisture sealing and enteric properties. With its superior taste and moisture protection it is recommended for the coating of natural extracts, fatty oils and substances with bad taste and odor. BonuLac® is a combination of natural shellac with plasticizers, coloring additives and additional excipients. It is a homogeneous, dry-milled, powdered compound, developed for the coating of all kinds of solid dosage forms.

BonuCel® provides easy-to-use cellulose ethers for pharmaceutical and nutritional products. The main application of Hypromellose is film coating. The fine, homogeneous blends of selected high quality cellulose ether polymers provide excellent film forming properties and sustained release profiles. A wide range of standard viscosities is offered to deal with different application requirements. Additionally, BIOGRUND offers an exclusive service by finely adjusting viscosities.

The dry powder compound BonuTab® contains fillers, binders, disintegrant, lubricants and – if required – pigments for coloring issues. According to customer needs and depending on active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) the components of the premix can be individually adapted. An optimization of the tablet formulation can be done. Preparation of the complete tablet mass in just one step by blending BonuTab® with the API.

BIOGRUND’s ready-to-use coloring agent BonuTone® provides a homogeneous solid-color product. It is a unique, aqueous or organic dispersion of colors with additional excipients. BonuTone® is a ready-to-use master batch, developed for the coloring of all kinds of creams, sugar-coating dispersions and chewing gums. It can be used in liquids in a simple and easy way.

BIOGRUND’s ready-to-use printing ink BonuPrint™ is a fine, homogenous, liquid pigment dispersion for solid oral dosage forms, available as an organic or aqueous solution. Protect your product against counterfeiting by printing your logo, brand name or barcode onto the tablet. Furthermore it increases the safety of patients by making it easier to distinguish between different tablets and capsules.
